Bio

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he is the grandson of a Danish immigrant. He pursued a degree in Finance while also enjoying the vibrant university experience. Upon graduation, he embarked on a journey in the corporate world, joining an energy company.

His career took him across the globe, starting as a 23-year-old in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where he held various Finance roles. The early '90s saw a move to the UK, where he earned an MBA at the prestigious London Business School and married an English partner. The family's worldly adventures continued in 2002 with a move to Milan, Italy, where his daughter was born.

Throughout his career, he held roles in prominent cities such as Houston, Texas, Paris, France, and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He returned to both Paris and London before settling back in Houston. In 2019, he took on a significant role as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BAE Systems, a company known for producing vital equipment for the armed services, from Aircraft Carriers to cutting-edge fighter jets.

His tenure as CFO began in April 2020, right as the global pandemic was taking hold. BAE Systems, with its 100,000 employees worldwide, focuses on purpose-driven work, and he takes pride in the company's programs that offer early-career opportunities, including hiring 3,200 apprentices and graduates in 2023. The company emphasizes lifelong skills development, fosters an environmentally conscious ethos with a goal of achieving zero emissions by 2030, and supports customers in their journey towards net-zero ambitions.

Diversity and inclusion are essential aspects of his leadership, as he champions these values across the organization. He has witnessed the company's workforce rapidly diversify and excel.
