Bio
Darren Roos is a South African business leader who serves as the CEO of IFS, having previously held the position of President of SAP ERP Cloud. Since joining IFS in 2018, he has been instrumental in doubling the company's size and significantly increasing its market share. Prior to IFS, Roos had an illustrious career with roles at Redflag Communications, Dimension Data, and Software AG, where he gained various leadership experiences including serving as the Senior Vice President of Field Operations and later as President for various regions.
Living in London with his wife, Melissa DiDonato, Roos is not only a successful business executive but also a philanthropist. Under his guidance, IFS has won several industry awards and he himself was named CEO of the Year in the 2020 Tech Ascension Awards. He is a frequent speaker at industry events like TEDx talks and contributes as an industry thought leader. Roos also co-founded the IFS Foundation, aimed at improving living conditions in Sri Lanka's rural areas, and the Inner Wings Foundation, a London-based charity focused on empowering girls and young women.
