With more than ten years in CEO roles, Luca Concone boasts a multifaceted career that spans entrepreneurship, angel investing, and advisory roles in tech and internet sectors. He took the helm as the Chief Executive Officer of lastminute.com group in December 2022.

Luca kicked off his professional journey as a consultant at prestigious firms like A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Co., focusing on financial institutions and technology. In the early 2000s, he served as the deputy CEO of Gruppo UBI, one of Italy's largest banks, and also led Capital One Bank in the UK as its CEO. He played a pivotal role in the founding of Volagratis, now part of lastminute.com group, by assisting with the formation of its legal structure.

Between 2006 and 2007, Luca wore the hat of Chief Financial Officer for the City of Milan during Mayor Letizia Moratti's term. In 2009, he ventured into renewable energy, founding Solar Investment Group, where he held the dual roles of Chairman and CEO. Currently, he maintains a directorship at the company. Luca has held approximately nine senior-level positions throughout his career, cementing his reputation as a seasoned CEO rather than an entrepreneur. On a personal note, he is an avid football enthusiast and is a supporter of AC Milan.
